Overview Anybus Profibus DP Master PCI
The Anybus-PCI iProfibus Master supports Profibus DP & DPV1 functions.
The PCI interface has a 4kByte DPRAM providing a fast I/O transfer of 1536 bytes Input & 1536 bytes Output data. It also supports Class 1 & Class 2 services and can handle up to 125 Profibus slaves.
The DPV1 Master can be configured by the easy to use configurator software ?Anybus-NetTool-PB?. Both Master and Slave version can operate on baudrates of up to 12 Mbit/s on a Profibus network.
This Anybus PCI card is compatible with the Anybus OPC server which is available for free. It also comes with driver support for the 3S soft-PLC program. If you want to develop your own Windows applications this is made easy using the Anybus API driver package (Anybus Transport Provider). This offers a standardized dll API with simple functions for card initialization and process data exchange.
FDT/DTM technology is also supported. By using the Anybus comDTM this card can be used as an access point for an FDT tool such as Pactware or Fieldcare for configuring Profibus slave devices via the Profibus network, either directly on Profibus-DP or via a DP/PA converter.
