Overview JetCon 2204
 
 
JetCon 2204 is a 4-port RS-232 to USB converter. With more PCs come with USB ports instead of COM ports, and RS-232 devices still occupy a great portion in some applications, such as point-of-sale, banking, mobile computing, and industrial automation, you need a cost-effective USB-to-Serial solution to help you extend COM ports on your PC. That's exactly where JetCon 2204 comes in. JetCon 2204 gives you an easy plug-n-play solution with 4 independent RS-232 ports. The USB interface not only gives you the plug-n-play capability, but also allows you to hot swap without powering on/off your PC. And extending your COM ports via the USB port can relieve you from the need to open the chassis, reconfigure and reboot. And with USB 1.1 standard that is compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.0, you can be assured that JetCon 2204 can work with any PC or device with USB interface. JetCon 2204 also provides both USB bus and external power to give you flexible power supply connection.

Overview JetCon 2101i
 
 
The standard RS-232 protocol has been widely used in most of industrial computer systems for serial port communication. However, it has its limitations in transmission speed, range, and networking capabilities. The RS-422 and RS-485 standard protocols, on the other hand, overcome the limitations mentioned above by utilizing different voltage lines for data and control signals.

AutoPro
JetCon 2101i has the built-in "AutoPro" function, which can adjust JetCon's baud rate and data format for different devices in a RS-485 network. Most RS-232 to RS-485 converters in the market use DIP switch to select baud rate and data format, but "AutoPro" allows JetCon to be autoconfigured to the same baud rate and data format in the entire RS-485 network.

The RS-422 and RS-485 standard protocols, on the other hand, overcome the limitations mentioned above by utilizing differential voltage lines for data and control signals. The JetCon 2101ir Repeater enables an existing RS-422/485 network to cover a longer range. It extends the communication distance by 1200 meters and increases the maximum connected nodes to 32. JetCon 2101ir is also equipped with high voltage isolation to protect connected RS-422/485 networks.

Overview JetCon 2401
 
 

JetCon2401 is a Multi-serial to fiber media converter which adopts RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 triple mode circuits with auto baud rate and direction control. It extends the serial signal link distance to 5KM (JetCon2401-m Multi-mode Optical Fiber) or 40KM (JetCon2401-s Single-mode Optical Fiber) and also provides good immunity of EMI/EMS.
To ensure nonstop transmission in hazardous environment, JetCon2401 supports wide operating temperature range, -20℃~70℃ model (JetCon2401).
Further more, JetCon2401 supports wide range power input (DC/AC) and DIN rail mount for quick and easy installation.
