Overview OPC Router (INAT)

As the standard OPC Client, the OPC Router ensures that data are exchanged not only between two Servers but also between Servers and Databases without time-consuming programming.

 

OPC => OPC

The connection between two OPC Servers enables communication of automation components via Ethernet. Additional connections are no longer required.

OPC => Database

Often production data has to be written to a database for the purpose of production data acquisition. The OPC Router as OPC Client can access these data and becomes the connector between database and OPC Server.

Database => OPC

The data transfer from a database to a automation component, is used for complex controller tasks. The process can be parametrized via the database.

Database => Database

Data transfer between databases is possible as well. Fields of application are creation of temporary data such as receipes or archiving of data as archival backup copy.
