To better control industrial automation applications in harsh environments over an Ethernet LAN, we design JetNet Series Industrial Ethernet Switch. The design concept of JetNet is based on many aspects, including industrial design, system performance and ease of use.

JetNet uses a one-piece formed aluminum case to provide a rugged, acid corrosion-proof and heat resistant solution. We place the terminal block and ventilation holes on the bottom side of each unit to reduce the chance of damage due to dust and moisture ingress. JetNet's compact space saving design is a benefit throughout the product's life - from inventory storage and transportation to installation. The transparent acrylic front panel offers a clear view of the LED indicators provided across the JetNet range.

Industrial automation and control solutions demand high reliability. Korenix understands that redundancy is a required fact of life in this environment. JetNet provides dual DC power inputs, AC-DC power adapter jack. The Korenix Ethernet Super Ring redundant path technology provides sub 300ms recovery time for physical link failure where redundant paths are provisioned between switches.

JetNet smart switch Configuration and remote management activities are provided for by a browser-based WEB management application. Any PC or workstation with a WEB browser can access the switch graphical user interface to configure features such as IGMP snooping, VLAN, QoS and port mirroring.
